Damn!!

I've lost at least 50% of my DH1 partition!! So. ALL MAIL!! :(

Yesterday i've bought an external USB disk to make backup but i was impossible to copy data into due my work! Today while lha was crunching files, the DH1 parition has go to the hell.. Disk not validated. I've tried to repair it but i've lost many files..

Fortunately my sources now are safe.. but what a scare..

Yeah.. sadness.. this isn't an IT post.. since a blog it isn't a monothematic diary i can write other things.. So, i have just seen my ex girlfriend.. :( I'm very unhappy. Or better, i'm very happy to saw her but many and many trouble has come to my mind..

It is strange that after three years i'm so attract by her. You should know that i like the Zellweger. Want you know why? Look at this link you can see why..

So it is better that i return to my mplayer.. it is better.. :/

New projects on the road

Since MPlayer has delayed due known problem i'm free to develop some other projects. First of all i want to improve AMIShots and AMITorrent, but other projects are on the road.. They are ports from other platforms. Yes. I'm too busy now to make a software from scratch.. :)

I need a shell compatible with bash. It is boring configure an application with cygwin or linux and try to manually change the config files.. Hope in Hyperion and in all our developers..

MPlayer..problems and problems..

Many of us has emailed me asking the new mplayer version. Well, there are many problems in the original sources. So the developers are working on a patch. Main problems are on software scaling. Since we don't have overlay we use software scaling and color conversion. With Alitivec enabled mplayer crash.. this due an aligment error on some routines.

In the new version will should have a new P96 driver with Alivec optimisation (see above..) and all new CVS changes.

So please wait. New version is under development but now i must wait for main developers..

Yeah. My first post

Hi all.

This is my first post. Many of us that will reach this site known that Amiga is alive. After many yars we have six platforms (hardware and software) that are compatible with Amiga philosophy.
They are:

By Hardware side we have the classic platforms that are still utilised by many users, the new AmigaOne and MicroA1 using the new OS4 and the Pegasos with Morphos.
But Amiga can be utilised also using a software emulation. From this side we can use Aros, UAE and Amithlon. This software can be used on many platforms and they are really usable.

So. I don't like the war between users but unfortunately on many Amiga's sites we can read stupid posts and i think you will read same posts here.. ;)

Sorry for some english mistakes but i'm italian and some errors can be occurs.. :)
